What is ILDA and TPSA ?
The International Laser Display Association (ILDA) is the worldwide non-profit trade association and is dedicated to
advancing the use of laser displays in art, entertainment and education. It was founded in August 1986. ILDA sponsors an
annual conference and the annual ILDA Awards for artistic and technical achievement in laser shows and displays.
While increasing public awareness of laser light shows, the ILDA is also an association that provides a base for laser display
companies. The ILDA does not perform laser light shows itself, but its members primarily consist of laser light show hosts or
companies that sell equipment and services. Members of the company can work with each other, not as competitors, but as
colleagues with whom they can collaborate.Being associated with ILDA, members can have professional backing that will
supply information on new technologies regarding safety issues and improved display performance.
In 1997, a number of well established technical production services companies and individuals came together to form an
association to serve the needs of both the live entertainment industry and its clients. Basing itself on the PSA (Production
Services Association) in the UK, the Technical Production Services Association (TPSA) was born. Launched officially in
February 1998, it is an association incorporated not for gain under section 21 of the Companies Act 61 of 1973.
What is a water screen ?
A high-resolution projection screen created entirely in a cascade of flowing water!
The Water screen is an amazing projection medium that uses a thin film of water for projection of video, lasers, gobos, and
other lighting effects. The webmedia appear to float magically in front of the audience, enhanced by the surrealistic effect of
genuine water flowing in front of them. These effects can be doubly exciting when utilizing a water feature present at the
event such as a fountain, pool, or pond.
What is chilled smoke ?
Chilled fog machines are designed to create thick clouds of fog that lie close to the ground and dissipate as they rise.
Fog readily assists in creating a specific mood or feeling for a theatrical moment, and is often used in plays
Because of the reflective and refractive qualities of the smoke created by fog machines, they are often used in nightclubs

track to display on your interactive dance floors ?
Yes you can, we design custom visuals to suit your choice of dancing atmosphere. We can also program custom visuals for

Can your team build a 3D DJ box using led video panels ?

Fireworks, are they not banned in SA ?
Fireworks are not banned in South Africa. The trade in fireworks are subjected to the rules and regulations of the Inspector
of explosives of the SAPS. They oversee all transport and storage activities of fireworks as well as its usage during big
fireworks displays. All dealers are subjected to both SAPS requirements and municipal laws. For usage by the man in the
street municipal bylaws are applicable. This entails getting a permit stating when and where fireworks are allowed to be used.
How does flame projectors work ?
This machine uses liquefied petroleum gas as fuel. Flames can reach 1-3 m high. With the special pressure reducing valve,
works more safe and steady. DMX control, it can spray not only one shot but also continuously.
It is widely used in event, superstar concert, concert, stage performance, magic performance, club etc.
We also do flame lighting, makes effect similar like real flame. No temperatures and spark, working safe. "Flame" reaches 2
m high, red and white colors are available. It is special used in the disco, evening events, party, performance, hotel hall,
interior decoration etc.
